How to spend your Galentine's Day, as inspired by Leslie Knope

Or Palentine's Day if female centric terms make you feel a little queasy
Whilst everyone is full of ideas on how to spend Valentine’s day (us included – check them out here) we’re going to provide you with some tips on where to go and what to do with your bestie.
All tips are inspired by Leslie Knope and use of your Railcard, obvs, so you have some extra £££’s to splash when you get to wherever it is you’re going.
1. Visit Bicester Village
We know this is a bit of a stereotype, “those gals always shopping”, but it’s a great day out for you and your bestie. There’s lots of cafes so you can partake in a spot of people watching, and if you decide to shop you can pick up some bargains. Plus, the whole place looks like it’s straight out of a postcard, so there’s plenty of Instagram opportunities.

2. Emu-se yourself by going to the zoo
Sure, the zoo might be something you think you should do with your beau, but would they love your terrible puns as much as your actual bae? You better bae-lieve they wouldn’t. You otter head down to ZSL London Zoo. Make sure you stop to watch the elephants play, so you can use it as an opportunity to let your BFF know that you’ll never forget them. No hummingbirds here, so you guys can take the top spot for cutest animals in the whole zoo.

3. Prove how strong you are by showing a cave who’s boss
Is your BFF a brilliant, powerful musk ox? Then make them prove it by going jumping in a cave. Not only is this a work out, which will entitle you to a guilt-free lunch. It’s cool. Like really cool. It’s in a cave after all. Jump into each other’s arms knowing that when things get tough, you’ll have this experience to prove to that you and your amigo can achieve anything.

4. Breakfast at any time, because your queens and don’t have to play by societies rules on what food is acceptable when
Long title, but it has a point, your best bud is a Cinnamon Roll, too pure for this word. They should get to eat what they want, whenever they want. If they want to eat breakfast at 6pm, so be it! Cereal Killer is a great name and offers cereal based freak shakes. It’s everything your 7yo self dreamed that being an adult would be like.
